Moderated and presented by Charles Fernandez.

Each discussed what composers need to know about their instruments and many excerpts and ideas were discussed as to how to write for the wind quintet.

Many musical examples were presented and score examples were provided free.

This August, we’ll have a session where those who submit wind quintets will be read, so come on the 20th, then if you are a member of ASMAC write a Quintet! Those works chosen by the players will then be presented in a home concert in October.
