This ASMAC Luncheon podcast features Bruce Lambourne Fowler and Walt Fowler. Bruce, born July 10, 1947, was a prominent American trombone player and composer. He played trombone on many Frank Zappa records, as well as with Captain Beefheart and in the Fowler Brothers Band. Currently, he composes and arranges music for movies, and has been the composer, orchestrator, or conductor for many popular films.

Walt Fowler, born March 2, 1955, began his career as a trumpet player and joined Frank Zappa’s band in 1974. In the mid-1990s, he began orchestrating for major motion picture soundtracks. He has performed with James Taylor since joining his band in 2001. Introduced by Kim Richmond.  (Learn more…)
