Dave Slonaker Big Band

8 April 2018

The Dave Slonaker Big Band returns to The Lighthouse Café on April 15 for the Sunday Jazz Brunch from 11am to 3pm.

The Dave Slonaker Big Band will be returning for a performance at the Sunday Jazz Brunch at the iconic Lighthouse Café in Hermosa Beach on Sunday, April 15 from 11am to 3pm.

After our recent sold out performance at Bogie’s we return to The Lighthouse on April 15th. I always enjoy performing at The Lighthouse, not only because of the great history of the club, but also because we can play multiple sets and play a lot of music in the book, both old and new arrangements.

Our concerts at The Lighhouse have been packed so don’t miss this opportunity for a great afternoon of big band jazz. With a line-up of great musicians, the beach and the Hermosa Pier 100 steps away, what better way to spend a spring Sunday afternoon in Southern California!?

Scheduled to appear with the band will be: Saxophones, Bob Sheppard, Brian Scanlon, Rob Lockart, Tom Luer, Jay Mason. Trumpets, Wayne Bergeron, Dan Fornero, Ron Stout, Kye Palmer. Trombones, Alex Iles, Andy Martin, Erik Hughes, Bill Reichenbach. Piano, Ed Czach, Bass, Edwin Livingston, Drums, Peter Erskine.

The $10 cover is a bargain! Parking is convenient: either behind the restaurant or at a parking garage, one block north on the left above Starbucks.

Please tell your friends, students, or share this email, and check us out on Facebook. And for those visiting the LA area, I hope you can include our concert in your visit.

I look forward to seeing you on the 15th!  – Dave
