In Memoriam: Gordon Goodwin
(30 Dec 1954 – 8 Dec 2025)
Dearest friends,
Once again, I am brought to tears writing my thoughts about the passing of another extraordinary, talented human being who was my dear friend, Gordon Goodwin. He was truly a beacon of light and love. His music will live on forever in our hearts.
To his beautiful wife, Vangie, his family, and the amazing Big Phat Band, all of us at ASMAC are sending our heartfelt sympathy to you.
I deeply believe that Gordon’s soul and spirit will continue to shine through all of us who knew him and loved him throughout the years.
—Gayle Levant, ASMAC President
