ASMAC 11-piece studio recording session for ASMAC composers and arrangers. — Thu 8 Oct 2026, 1–5pm (actual time block will depend on number of participants)
A rare opportunity to have your music recorded with Hollywood union studio musicians at world-class Evergreen Studios. Explore the possibilities and challenges of writing for a unique 11-piece ensemble of Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, 2 Woodwinds (Oboe, Bassoon, both with doubles – TBA), Trumpet, French horn, Tuba (Bass Trombone double), Harp, and Piano.
Write in any style. Possibly a film cue, musical theater song, music for animation, sweeten a pop or virtual instrument track, arrangement of a public domain song, maybe a concert chamber or jazz masterpiece.
Includes rough mix, Pro Tools session with stems, input on score and music preparation, feedback from musicians after session. Use recording as specified by the AFM Local 47 limited pressing agreement.
Recommended Duration: max of 2.5 minutes of music
