In this seminar jointly hosted by ASMAC NYC and SCL NYC, composer/orchestrators Ned Paul Ginsburg, Greg Pliska, and Allison Leyton-Brown, along with composer-producer Amy Crawford of Man Made Music, will discuss their personal experiences creating music in New York in such areas as motion pictures, animated children’s series, sports and news programs, podcasts, documentaries and more. The emphasis will be on music recorded with ensemble players, though all-synth production will also be included. The process of interacting with clients, along with the nuts and bolts of orchestration, synchronization, and mixing, will be touched upon.
