ASMAC presents composer Angela Little and writer/director/editor Sasha Hadden who will take us on a journey through the process of creating the film score for A Stitch in Time, winner of the Best Indie Film at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA). This event will explore the composer-director collaboration, spotting the film, composition & demo process, orchestration, recording sessions, mix, & delivery.
Joining the conversation will be the film’s orchestrator Alvaro Balvin Benavides, sound mixer Wayne Pashley, EWI soloist Steve Tavaglione, and conductor Jess Wells (moderator) who will offer further insight in creating this heartwarming score. Nominated for AACTA 2022 Best Original Score in Film.
