From Dreamgirls and The Wiz in the 1970s to Hairspray and Ain’t Too Proud, Harold Wheeler has been bringing verve and style to his Broadway orchestrations for over 40 years. If that were not enough, 17 seasons as music director for ABC’s Dancing With the Stars and music directing the Academy Awards four times are just two more credits from an extraordinary musical life.
With multi-award winning orchestrator and colleague Joseph Joubert interviewing him, Harold will share some of his scores and stories from a legendary career.
