Join composer Jeff Beal and moderator Scott Healy for a deep dive into the world of jazz composing, arranging, and scoring using the language of jazz as the organizing idiom. The conversation will cover Beal’s new film score for the recent Apple TV+ film Raymond and Ray with music performed by Beal, John Patitucci, and Peter Erskine.

We will also look at more of Jeff’s work for larger ensembles including a big band and jazz choir commission for the groundbreaking silent film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (as time permits).
