Long regarded as Broadway’s preeminent orchestrator, Jonathan Tunick’s credits extend beyond his legendary orchestrations of Stephen Sondheim’s shows: as a composer he has written extensively for film, television and the concert hall, and has the rare distinction of “EGOT” status, holding all four major entertainment awards.
With multi-award winning orchestrator and colleague Michael Starobin interviewing him, Jonathan will delve into three of his scores and discuss the creative process behind some of the most iconic moments in the American musical theater.
