ASMAC’s 8Oth Anniversary Celebration

1 March 2019

FRIDAY, MARCH 1, 2019 – 6:30 pm

Skirball Cultural Center

We are pleased to invite you to attend a spectacular evening celebrating 80 years of ASMAC!  Our two-hour concert and program will feature both live musical tributes – with special guest performers and more surprises to come – along with video retrospectives from many of the great arrangers and composers of our time!   We promise to keep the music flowing, and the introductions and speeches short !

Special Guests joining us on stage include:
Alan Bergman                   Julie Bernstein
Jorge Calandrelli                Michael Dees
Adam Aejaye Jackson        Gayle Levant
Monica Mancini                   Rob Paulsen
Randy Rogel                         William Ross
Nan Schwartz                   Tierney Sutton
Chris Walden                  Randy Waldman
with the Kim Richmond Concert Jazz Orchestra

We also take great pride in presenting the President’s Award to the award winning music producer, songwriter, composer Walter Afanasieff.  He has countless gold records and musical accomplishments, working with many of today’s superstars (from Mariah Carey to Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand), and ASMAC is so pleased to have this opportunity to salute his talent.

Our original event date of November 18th was postponed due to the horrific Woolsey Fire which affected so many of our participants.  If you had already made your reservation, it is intact and we look forward to seeing you on Friday evening, March 1st.  If you haven’t yet confirmed your attendance, would like to place a tribute ad, or just want to confirm, please call our office soon.

We hope all of you will be able to join us – spend time with old friends and new ones – and help us celebrate! You can purchase tickets at or contact us at 818-994-4461 or [email protected].
