Nathan Wang Mentors LA Inception Orchestra Students

Here is a report from Akira Nakano from LA Inception Orchestra about Nathan Wang’s mentoring of students. “Nathan was amazing. He picked out an animation clip for the kids to score. We watched the scores that were submitted. He encouraged, expounded on, and gave awesome constructive notes on each one.  He was phenomenal and the kids loved him.  He even gave awesome suggestions to one young composer who submitted his entire cue on a recorder.  I rolled my eyes and said, “Needs work,” but Nathan filled in chord progressions and showed how the sections worked, which was a better approach. Nathan was amazing and is looking forward to returning.”
