ASMAC is proud to present a new video section on our http://www.ASMAC.org website. 

The Members Only section features full length videos of First WEDNESDAYS and luncheon events plus other special content exclusive to members. For those members who cannot attend events, whether working OR in a different part of the country, this is a great place to catch up on some of what you missed. If you’re not a member of ASMAC yet, and would like to be able to access this section, please go to the JOIN section of our website, and sign up today.

Filed under more videos is the ASMAC You Tube channel featuring highlights from various events and reflections on arranging.

Another exciting area is “The Great ASMAC Arrangers and Founding Members” with classic videos that showcase legacy arrangers including Van Alexander, Robert Russell Bennett, Ray Charles, Adolph Deutsch, Arthur Lange, John Leipold, Billy May, David Raksin, Nelson Riddle, Conrad Salinger, and Walter Scharf.

We are calling for contributions to the video web page that feature your favorite arrangers and their arrangements. You can refer to the About section of the website for names of the founding members or send your own suggestions. We would like to eventually have a video collection of all the great legacy and contemporary arrangers available to the public to promote appreciation and awareness of who we are.
